Canada Trip

Wow! This was the funniest trip I have been on in a long time. I met new friends that share the same passion in photography as I do. I learned so much about my camera and lighting. We had some great speakers. I got to see the change of season for the first time which was awesome. I took pictures of the red, yellow, and orange leaves. It was beautiful. It also was so nice to not have any responsibilities. I only had to take care of myself and that was IT! YEAH! When I arrived home my husband was so happy to have me back. He told me that he now realizes what it takes to be MOM!

Canada Trip

Yeah! I am leaving for Canada on Saturday for a photography workshop. I am sooooo excited. I need to pack tomorrow but still wondering how to pack for cold weather. I don't own a heavy jacket because I am a native Texan and there usually is not need for a heavy jacket. I guess I will wear layers. Anyway, this is going to be a jammed packed workshop. The guys running the workshop said we will be eat and sleeping photography for 3 full days. Also, I have never been to Canada. We plan on going to the Niagra Falls and take plenty of pictures. Well, I will check back when I am in Niagra and let you know how the trip is going. We should have internet access at the workshop.
Happy Traveling!

Photo Shoot

Wow! My photo shoot went great! The couple I photographed was so cool. I took some couple shots with the husband in his uniform and then the wife wearing the husbands jacket. Then, I had the wife wrap up in the American flag and took some shots with the husband blurred knealing in the background. Next, I dressed the wife in a white petticoat and red shirt with red converse shoes. Then, I had her waving two small hand flags and blowing kisses. These pictures turned out so cute. Now, I need to photoshop the pictures and get them proofed. Wish me luck on a good sale!

I wish I could get a massage! I need a break!

All right, I am already tired and just started the semester. Everything still is going good but I feel really tired. Maybe, I am having a fear of getting older. LOL! Tomorrow is my Birthday and I will be 33 years old. WOW! Time flies! I hope my husband wakes me up with a b-day breakfast in bed in the morning! YEAH Right! He is a great hubby but I doubt breakfast in bed will happen! But, I would take a massage! hehe!

My son's is doing great in Kindergarten. He showed the class his good manners and good choices he made and the class this week voted for him to be the Star Student of the week. Talk about a proud Mama! Man, the second week of school and already making a Star Student position.
My daughter is totally loving Christ Church School. In the morning I drop her off and she can't run in the door fast enough. She so excited about learning and her new school friends and teachers.

Blog 1

Well, the first week of school went great. I like my schedule even though on Thrusdays I am at school from 7:45am to 8:50pm. That makes for a long day. My daughter started Christ Church School on Monday. She loves the school and I have to say I love the school. The teaching staff is wonderful and the director is fantastic! My son started kindergarten on Tuesday which left mommy in big tears. It is so hard letting my baby go to a big boy school. He seems to like school. He will not tell me much about his days at school. The teacher told me yesterday that he was sweet as ice cream and answered every question. I am very excited about this weekend. I am attending a workshop in Austin on Saturday that will teach me more about Adobe Photoshop. I can't wait. It is the growing to do with professional photography. That's pretty much it for right now! I'll check back next week! Go Cru!
